Requirements :

  • Basic nursing Diploma/Degree and basic midwifery accredited by the South African Nursing Council. A course/certificate on choice on termination of pregnancy is required. Be able to work shifts.

Duties :

  • Provision of high quality nursing care that is holistic and patient centered. Ensure that nursing care provided is within the scope of practice of nurses and legal framework. Promotion of professionalism and leading by example. Coordination of all activities of the other members of the health team. Provision of pre and post counselling re-reproductive health related issues according to Termination of Pregnancy Act. Will be under the supervision of the Operational Manager in the Ante-natal Clinic
