Requirements :
- Qualifications that allows registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse. Registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse and proof of current registration. Knowledge of nursing care procedures and processes according to nursing statutes and other nursing framework. Knowledge of Occupational nursing will be advantage. Good communication and report writing skills as well as computer skills. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Duties :
- Administration and management of Occupational injuries and Diseases (COIDA cases). Assist with medical surveillance screening of employees. Assist with Health promotion and awareness campaigns. Maintain Confidentiality of records and reports. Assist and work together with the Professional Nurse and the Occupational Medical doctor. Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the management at district and provincial offices. To assist in managing, coordinating and facilitating the ohs programme. Accompany the manager and visit institutions, give support and do training on reporting and recording of injury on duty.
