Requirements :

• Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Registration with SANC as Nursing Assistant. Two (2) years’ experience in the Integrated Employee Wellness Programme in the public health sector will be an added advantage. Communication skills. Be able to work with diversity of people. Computer literacy.

Duties :

• Demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal ethical nursing practices. Perform elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards. Promote quality of elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice. Prevention of diseases by promoting health to individuals. Communication to clients during nursing care duties and give information during enquiries. Promotion of nursing care functions under supervision of a registered nurse. Ensure stock control and assist in ordering of medical equipment stock. Ensure queue management at the centre. Assist Professional Nurses in administering medical treatment to clients. Assist in emergency procedure. Obtain and document vital signs and specimen. Assist in the administration of compensation of occupational injuries and diseases forms. Communicate effectively with diversity of staff in the workplace. Work cultural diversity and impairment at the workplace
