Requirements :

• A qualification that Allows the Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant. Current registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant. GRADE 1: No experience required. GRADE 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. GRADE 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Additional requirements for all grades: Knowledge of health and public service legislation recommendations . Good communication and sound interpersonal skills.

Duties :

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (Physical care) provide elementary clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development. Functional: Demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practises. Perform and determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality elementary nursing care as directed by professional scope of practice and standard as determine by the relevant health facility. Generic: Demonstrate elementary communication with patients, supervisors and other clinicians. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure good nurse. Work effectively, cooperatively amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious differences. Display a concerns for patients, promoting and advocating elementary care including awareness to respond to patient needs, requirements, and expectations (Batho- Pele).
