Requirements :

• Basic qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse/Enrolled nurse. Exposure in implementation of, HIV, AIDS and TB programmes. Knowledge and understanding of the nursing Care processes and procedures, Patients’ Rights Charter, Batho Pele Principles. Verbal and communication skills

Duties :

• Provide TB patient tracing and linkage to care under the supervision of a Professional Nurse. Tracing of treatment interrupters, missing cases of Drug - Sensitive and Drug - Resistance TB. Patient follow up visit to the hospital and transfer out from the hospital to the PHC facilities. Contact tracing of vulnerable and key populations especially children of TB index cases. Ensure adherence to treatment by monitoring continuity of observed TB treatment plans and support. Weekly reporting of linkage to care.

• A fully completed and signed new z83 form (obtainable from any Public Service Department or on www.dpsa.gov.za/documents) should be accompanied by comprehensive CV highlighting or stating the requirements mentioned above.
