Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, one (1) year Nursing Assistant Certificate that allows registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC). Current registration with the SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant. Proof of service record for appropriate grading according to OSD policy. Proof of SANC receipt (2022). Knowledge of Nursing care processes and procedures, Nursing statutes, National Core Standards and other relevant Legal Frameworks such as Nursing Act, OHS Act, Patient's Right Character, Responsibilities, Batho-pele Principles, Public Service Regulations, Labour Relations Act, Disciplinary Code and Procedure, Grievance Procedure etc.

Duties :

  • Assist the patients with the activities of daily living (physical care). provide elementary clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development

Notes :
